Yes, our products are required on many key products, including signage, hoardings, in hospitals, on medical equipment, in ambulances and other emergency vehicles.

Also, many small manufacturers of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and furniture are continuing work on existing orders - even if they cannot be installed in the immediate future.  Home DIY also seems to be growing, with many people stuck at home and almost no excuses left to avoid minor building works, furniture construction or painting.

We are dispatching orders on a daily basis, using APC Couriers in the UK (who are doing a fantastic job under pressure) and UPS Couriers to EU and overseas destinations.

We have taken steps that, no matter what happens, you can still contact us by email, telephone or a website Contact Us.

Never used our caps before, or not sure which colour will be best?  You can purchase one of our acclaimed Sample Packs for just £13.99 (which includes VAT & Royal Mail 'Signed For' service) or for just £8.99 if included with your next order.

Paying By Credit or Debit Card:

We do not charge fees for card payments.

We accept MasterCard & VISA Credit or Debit Cards.

Phone us details of Card Number, Cardholder Name, Expiry Date and 3-Digit Security number.  You can also email this information, however we suggest splitting your details between 2 or 3 emails to minimise the chances of your information ending up in the wrong hands.

Please also advise the Postcode and Street Number of the address where the card is registered

Your card will not be charged until the goods are ready for dispatch.

Please note:  Due to the time and costs involved, we do not provide Pro-Forma Invoices where customers will be paying by card.  All our pricing can be found on the "Prices" tab for each product and you can also download and/or print our single-page Price List.  A formal VAT Invoice and credit card receipt is sent with your order.

Paying By Electronic Bank Transfer:  (such as FPS-Faster Payment Service, BACS, etc)

Please send us your ORDER prior to making your payment.

We will e-mail or fax a Pro-Forma Invoice (usually within the hour), confirming our bank details and the correct amount to pay.

Fax us a Confirmation of Deposit after making your payment.

Some payment methods may not be credited to our account until the third business day.  This may delay dispatch of your order.

Unless you request otherwise, your VAT Invoice and credit card receipt (if applicable) will be dispatched with your order.

All our pricing can be found on the "Pricing" tab for each product.  You can also download and/or print our single-page Price List.

Discounts are determined simply by the total amount of the order.

10% Discount - If the Product Value of your order is £100 or more.
15% Discount - If the Product Value of your order is £250 or more.

ALL customers can benefit significantly because of the great flexibility to qualify for a discount. You can have any mix of products, and any mix of colours. So long as the Product Value of your order is £100.00 or more, you get at least 10% discount.

This Discount applies to ALL our products, including Electroplated Snap-Caps, for telephone, fax or e-mail sales, as well as counter sales (for customers lucky enough to be near Rugby!)

Genuine Distributors and Re-sellers wishing to on-sell our products should contact us for special reseller pricing

Our Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is 1,000 caps for all the plastic caps.  Don't panic yet.... prices are from as little as £9.60 for a bag of 1,000 caps.

For Electroplated Snap-Caps, our MOQ is 100 caps and washers (bases).  Electroplated Snap-Caps can also be purchased in quantities of 250 caps and 500 caps.

Click on the "Pricing" tab on each product page to see the prices for each product.

If you really don't want to buy enough to reach our MOQ, we have a number of Resellers who will happily sell in quantities as few as 10 caps.  Click here for a list of Resellers.

With 96 colours in stock, choosing the best colour for your application may seem a little daunting. Relax, it's all quite easy really!

Our Colour Matching Guide shows matches to more than 2,800 board and surface finish materials used in the UK.  This information is just a few mouse-clicks away.

Can’t find the right match on this website?  Call us (Phone numbers on Contact Us page), and there’s a good chance we can sort it out for you with a minimum of fuss.

Unfortunately not!  Our printed & website Colour Charts should only ever be used as an approximation of the actual colour of our caps.  This is due to limitations in the printing process used for our brochures, and the calibration of even the best computer.

However, with just a few mouse-clicks, you can easily find the best Cap colour match to more than 2,800 board and surface finish materials used in the UK, with our on-line Colour Matching Guide.

If you have something we haven’t already matched, call us (Phone numbers on Contact Us page), and there’s a good chance we can sort it out for you with a minimum of fuss.

Trading Terms are pre-payment by Credit Card, Cheque or by Funds Transfer to our account.

Prices charged, shipping policy and minimum order values are as per Price Lists. Placement of Order is considered acceptance of current Price List and Terms.

Customers trading in excess of £200 per month are eligible to apply for a 30-Day account facility.  Terms specific to this facility are detailed on the application form.

We are happy to offer a Credit Account to customers trading in excess of £200 per month. Below this value does not justify the costs of maintaining an account due to the finance and administrative costs. By having "occasional" customers pay by bank transfer, cheque or Credit Card, we are able to hold down our costs and therefore our prices.

Please note that (for Trade customers) a Minimum Order Value of £50.00 applies for Orders being paid on Account. Amounts less than this will be required to be pre-paid as per above.  Other Terms specific to this facility are detailed on the application form.

All dispatched orders are sent with recognized courier companies. Although this may be more expensive than other alternatives, it allows us to quickly trace shipments if there is a delivery problem, and to provide customers with Proof of Delivery if necessary. Ultimately, this higher level of service guarantees fewer delays and a lot less headaches for everyone.

We regret that we can only dispatch orders to recognised premises of the customer/cardpayer.  This means that we cannot dispatch to worksites and/or 3rd-party addresses.

Deliveries to private addresses:  Courier services may require a signature when delivering your order.  Deliveries to a residence can experience problems and delays if no-one is available to accept your parcel.  A 'Failure to Deliver' may require your travelling to the Courier's local depot to collect your order.

Even if there is any chance you will be away from your premises or on part of the property where you may not hear your doorbell, even for just a few minutes, we recommend you consider:
  • having your order delivered to a trusted neighbour who will be home when you are not (please let us know at the time of placing your order, or leave a note on your door, where the courier driver will see it)
  • Giving us an alternative address, where your package can be signed for and be safe until you can collect it.  Such places may include:
    • your employer's address
    • a local business (if you know the owner well), including village shop, garage or pub

For deliveries to the EU and elsewhere:  Delivery charges vary considerably with package weight and destination.   Please contact us for delivery charges, and we will look-up the most cost effective method of delivery to you.  For all orders with Product Value of £100 or more, the Delivery Charge will be reduced by £7.75.

This depends on where you are located! Because we keep stocks of all products and colours, we are able to offer same-day dispatch on better than 90% of orders received by 3.30pm. (Occasionally we do run out of some colours if we have an unexpected run of orders, but because we are the manufacturer, we are usually able to make your order within a few days).

Shipments to UK mainland addresses are next business day delivery. Other delivery areas may take longer.

Please note that our business is the manufacture of goods and supplying them to other businesses which either use our products in the manufacture or installation of their goods, or re-sell our goods to other businesses that do so. Accordingly, we assume our customers understand what our products are and how they work.  Our products are therefore specifically not sold in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act 2013 (formerly known as the 'Distance Selling Regulations') which are intended to protect consumers (ie non-B2B sales).

Many of our Resellers sell direct to the public. Click here for a list of all our Resellers.

Notwithstanding the above, Goods may be returned for Replacement, Refund or Exchange, subject to our Warranty and Refund & Exchange Policies (below).

You must contact us first to obtain a Return Authorisation - we cannot accept claims otherwise.

Goods with manufacturing faults, transit damage, or which have been incorrectly dispatched, will be replaced free-of-charge.

Refund & Exchange Policy

Goods may be returned or exchanged within 30 Days of receipt provided packs are unopened and in original condition. A Handling/Re-stocking Fee of £10.00 or 8% (whichever is greater) of returned goods, plus freight costs, may be charged at the company’s discretion. Please call us to arrange Return Authorisation. No claims will be recognised without prior authorisation from us.

  • Claim must be made within 30 days of receipt
  • Packs must be unopened and in original condition
  • A Handling/Re-stocking Fee of £10.00 or 8% (whichever is greater) plus applicable freight costs may be charged.

The best possible Product, with the best possible Service, at the best possible Price!

At Pro-Dec, we have made a decision not to adopt a formal Quality Assurance program such as ISO9000.

In our dealings with such certified companies, it is apparent that Certification does not guarantee a better standard of product or service, only that an effort will be made to re-supply the product or service. Certification also requires a substantial paperwork trail, which for a small company like ours, creates a substantial increase in costs which you, the customer, will ultimately have to bear.

Instead we have an in-house quality system, developed over more than 35 years. This system encompasses all aspects of our production and administration, from the ordering and receipt of raw materials to random testing of manufactured parts and finally order dispatch . This system is being constantly modified in response to changing requirements, and in many respects is to a higher standard than the formal Assurance standards.

As part of our quality system, we have our Product Warranty which guarantees replacement of any of our products which are not of an acceptable quality. Please note that because there are an infinite number of possible applications of our range of cover caps, we cannot guarantee that the caps will work on, or be appropriate for, all applications. We are however happy for you to consult with us about your individual needs.

We realise that occasionally problems will occur. In many instances, we may not even be aware that you have a problem (such as the delivery of your order) unless you tell us. It is our desire to provide the best product and service possible, and your feedback is vital to this process. We will make every effort possible to leave you satisfied with the result and happy to do business with us again.

You can telephone us, fax us or use our Contact Us page. We promise you our every effort to resolve your problem.
